We receive a large amount of enquiries each week through our panel of introducers and in return, they receive a healthy commission on the back of all completed cases. Our introducers come from many different backgrounds and work in many different roles, but have one thing in common – a relationship built on trust with business owners, property developers or landlords. In today’s blog I will be running through exactly what type of enquiries you can introduce, how you can provide a useful additional service and in return earn yourself an extra income stream.

What information does an introducer have to provide in order to qualify as a referral?

We are a flexible commercial finance organisation and really value our introducers and as such are keen to make sure we make the whole process easy for everyone involved. Whether you want to chat through the enquiry giving us the information you have, send us a fully packaged application with completed ABC Finance Application form, or simply pass on the name and a number of your client with a need for finance and we will register the application against yourself. As an introducer you will receive the same commission payment on completion regardless of how much or how little information is provided upfront.

Do I retain control of the client relationship throughout the process?

This depends on your preferences; if you want to keep control and update the client yourself we are happy to work this way. Equally we are able to provide the full service on your behalf and just provide you with occasional updates as and when a ‘milestone’ occurs in the application process. Whichever way you prefer, your commission remains unaffected.

How will I know whether my referrals are successful?

You can keep track of all your applications in one place using our market leading online case tracking system, which can be found in the introducers section of our website. The system allows you to track all of your applications under one login and gives you the latest information, updated real time. In addition to this, we are happy to discuss your cases over the phone, by email or provide text message updates if this is better for you.

What happens if my client comes back to you without involving me?

Whenever one of our introducers clients come back to us, we always inform the introducer as soon as we receive the enquiry and of course treat the client as if the enquiry had come directly through them, as it did originally. This means you will still benefit from our case tracking through the whole process, our no cross-selling agreement, which means we will never sell a product to your client that you are able to offer yourself as part of your normal business and you will of course still benefit from the same commission scheme every time we complete a case with your client whether it is the first case or the fiftieth.
